The cause for this evangelism is brought forth in the following quote by Dr. Henry Morris in his book "The Long War Against God". In the Introduction of the book in the second paragraph we read: "The denial of God -- rejecting the reality of supernatural creation and the Creator's sovereign rule of the world -- has always been the root cause of every human problem. This evolutionary, humanistic, pantheistic -- even atheistic -- world view has taken many different forms over the ages, varying with the time and culture, but it has always been there in one guise or another, to turn the minds and hearts of people away from their Maker. There has indeed been an agelong war against God. It has been going on from the beginning of time and will increase in intensity in these last days". |

When did "The First Day" have it's first day?
Our Inaugural Broadcast was on Saturday December 18, of 2004 at 8:02am Pacific Standard Time, broadcasting from AM-1060 KKVV Las Vegas, Nevada USA. The original show was also streamed via the internet on www.kkvv.com. The show was pre-recorded with an opening segment of welcome by F. Ed Knutson with a request for callers to call the station for give-away offers of books, video tapes and DVDs supplied by ICR (www.icr.org). Then the ICR radio segment "Science Scriptures & Salvation" after which there was some more Ed-Talk and request for callers for the give-aways. Ed-Talk is when Mr. F. Ed Knutson reads and comments on different articles, books, videos etc. regarding creation. Later in the show the first part of the "Jonathan Park" creation adventure series was aired followed by more Ed-Talk and last request for give-aways! The final segment included several "Answers With Ken Ham" radio vignettes from Answers in Genesis (www.answersingenesis.org). |
